Siyaya: Wildest Cape Launches on Azoomee

LONDON, UK, Jan. 15th, 2020 / Azoomee, the safe, curated fun learning platform for kids, has today signed a deal with Scorpion TV to bring the nature show Siyaya: Wildest Cape, to its catalogue. In this second season of the series, the cast ventures into remote parts of the Western Cape in South Africa.

Azoomee selected Siyaya: Wildest Cape because it brings viewers to landscapes that are seldom seen on television, and celebrates the incredible wealth of beauty in nature. The show follows a group of teenagers as they explore deep canyons, scale high mountains and dive into two very different oceans, all while navigating wild animals that cross their path. Led by eccentric scientist Oompie (Dr. Francois Odendaal), the young adventurers investigate the Western Cape, where they encounter an amazing array of flora and fauna.

“We love that Siyaya: Wildest Cape takes us to one of the most important cradles of the evolution of modern humans,” said Luca Fiore, Head of Content at Azoomee. “Through exploration of the natural world, this show gives children insight into the past. This fits in beautifully with Azoomee’s aim to bring a fresh approach to understand the world around us.”

Children will love the breathtaking challenges the teens embark on, as they jump into cauldrons of whitewater, scale cliffs, and hang on ropes high in the sky. This show is all about facing your fears and appreciating nature in all its raw, impressive glory.

Siyaya: Wildest Capes joins thousands of TV episodes, videos and tutorials on Azoomee, along with more than 300 games and interactive activities.
