When it comes to raising our kids, what are the values that matter most? Honesty, humility, perseverance? For us, kindness is definitely up there. In fact, we might go as far as to agree with Roald Dahl who famously said “I think probably kindness is my number one attribute in a human being”.
But when we communicate and exchange online, it’s sometimes easy to forget that there are actual people on the other end. Between physical detachment and complete anonymity, the online world offers a degree of separation that can inhibit our sense of social awareness and kindness.
Our BAFTA nominated series Search It Up tackles this subject and much more, the episode, ‘Jackattack vs Robotron’, reinforces the message that how we act towards others online should not be all too different from offline.
