We are delighted that Klaas Ardinois has joined as Azoomee’s CTO.
“Klaas has been working with Azoomee as a consultant since last October. The more we discussed what we wanted to achieve technically, the more obvious it became to us that he was our ideal candidate,” commented Estelle Lloyd, founder of Azoomee. “Klaas has a track record of successful delivery with large blue chip companies. He understands how to build a product that is scalable and the critical importance of delivering IT projects to a tight deadline.”
Klaas’ immediate task is to recruit a team of developers who can help him build the Azoomee platform ahead of our scheduled launch in early 2016. He will have overall responsibility for all IT development comprising team recruitment, identifying and choosing key suppliers and partners.
On the content side, Klaas has a keen interest in video games development, which is a key component of the Azoomee product offering. He also has extensive experience in internet security, both through his network and as a result of the work he undertook at News International. Prior to joining Azoomee, Klaas managed the technology teams for the Sun digital products (web, mobile, tablet) including launch of the paywall on The Sun’s digital channels
“During the past few years I have been looking for the right opportunity where I could use my skills in an entrepreneurial role. Azoomee is an incredibly exciting project for me. From a technical perspective, we are building a product that is extremely interesting from so many different angles – security, accessibility, data protection, user experience. That will help me attract developers of the highest calibre. As to market need, you only have to read the daily news to see why what we are doing makes so much sense.” said Ardinois.
